It's a misty murky day at Amberley War Memorial with Ann in full flow
Our path takes us along a narrow track
Through the garden of Rambler Cottage
And down into the road
Along to the Bear
Over the Common to the Dog Tree
Where we pause to admire the decorations and read the various messages
Even Brian gets the Christmas spirit with a decoration on top of his head
The sun is breaking out in the valley over Kingscourt
Selsley
Ebley and Cainscross
Now time for coffee under the wall round Rodborough Fort
Rodborough Church in the valley
As we circle the Fort
One more look into the valley
Crossing Mount Vernon and continuing round the Common
Pausing for a look
Across the beginning of the Chalford Valley
It's that man with another ice cream
As we stop at Winstones
Before carrying on along the road
Past mossy walls and fallen leaves
Then on to the Common slogging uphill
Heading into the mist, back to the cars. And a happy new year to all my readers
