Looking over to Woodchester
We head onto Rodborough Common
And on over the Common
Starting downhill
Crossing Bear Hill to enter Manor Woods
Fungi growing from a fallen tree
A familiar landmark
The Black Horse just above us
Soon reaching the top
Where some make straight to the Black Horse
Ann leads us out through Amberley
Across the Common we find that the ice cream factory is selling Christmas trees - probably ice cream flavoured
Past the ice cream factory
To the other side looking over to Selsley and on to Stonehouse in the gloom
Then a narrow track circling the hill
Where our path becomes a carpet of leaves
Our path still skirting round the edge of the hill
Back up into Amberley
As we climb a steep path
