Beverston Walk - Saturday 1 July 2017 Previous Next Between the church and castle at Beverston, not a lot of room for us We head out round the back of the church And off across fields The path quite overgrown in places Looking into a field of growing linseed Over a road and into another field A brief spell on a concrete track Farmer going in for linseed in a big way this year Heading into Ledgemoor Bottom Down into the valley Overtaken by a couple of horse riders Coffee - some adopting a more relaxed pose than others Our path now takes us into Longtree Bottom Up through the woods Not as muddy as usual in spite of the recent rain Graham eyeing up the trees Out into the fields at the top And along Chavenage Green Past Wildlife World And down a narrow path - looks as though some have been bitten Looking down the valley towards Cromwell's Bath and the Hermit's Cave Then back into Beverston Where there is to be wedding today - fortunately later on this afternoon Past the castle to the cars Photos and captions by Richard, processed and uploaded by Sally
