Bourton to Icomb walk - Wednesday 13 June 2018 Previous Next Figs grow in Bourton-on-the-Water A wooden sculpture in Greystones Farm nature reserve A herd of cows and their calves block the way out of the field. We decide NOT to have coffee here. We stop near this alpaca instead We walk through fields of barley Looking down onto Icomb Flowers everywhere We pass the old pump And some beautiful cottages With flower beds to match Past the celtic cross We talk to the only person we see in Icomb Winners of the Bledisloe Best Kept Village cup for many years, though surprisingly not recently Flowers by the church Which we pass Drifts of mayweed Past the lake Lunch among the wildflowers Can anyone identify this bird's egg? A convenient tree We head downhill Through a very large flock of sheep And stop at Wyck Rissington church on our way back. Photos, captions and uploading by Sally
