Brookend leisurely walk - Monday 21 March 2016 Previous Next Ray welcomes us in his garden And then leads us out across fields Past an old house Left, right or through the middle - mud everywhere Lone tree Continuing across country To Newtown - and a colourful front garden Demise in demand - not an expression that gets a lot of use Coming into Sharpness we stop at a children's playground Where we can sit and talk Or behave as children The old docks warehouses looking down on us We head out of town Once more over open country A new addition to the skyline As we are faced with a friendly horse Following the footpath near the edge of a field Across a stubble field Back to Brookend.
