A clear morning as we set off from Brookthorpe
It starts to get hazy
And dark as we walk beside the M5 motorway
Red sun phenomenon casts a ghostly haze
Keeping a watchful eye as we pass by
There has been a good crop of pears
It is now very warm, very hazy
And very dark and eerie
