We’re at Fagin’s at Brookthorpe for Nigel’s walk

Off the main road and across fields to St. John the Baptist church at Harescombe

An elm tree with a burr (Graham tells us)

There are 3 stiles in less than 5 metres here

And a silver pig

The falling masonry is why St. Swithun’s church at Brookthorpe is closed

And it’s where we stop for coffee

Sheila spots berries on the holly (in April!)

Then we do a short circuit to come back to Brookthorpe
