After checking that we all have torches Sally leads us out into the Stygian gloom of Frith Wood
On the top of the hill we have views across the valley
We are soon heading downhill
Still a lot of wayside flowers
A steep path - glad of the handrail

Slad village across the valley
Familiar pond
Looking down the valley towards Stroud
Haymaking over
Now up the valley. Tom George's house in sight
Downhill again
Through Steanbrook
Then up past the racing yard
Pausing at the top
Before heading downhill
Then up to Bulls Cross where the sun is setting
