Bulls Cross walk - Wednesday 17 May 2017 Previous Next Bulls Cross, the start of a very wet walk Still raining Along a bridleway Where a horse and rider have right of way At Worgans Farm there are lots of puddles Caravans and motor homes waiting to go on their summer holidays More puddles Brollies still up as we go into a field Are these British Charolais cattle? Brian skirting round a puddle Down the lane towards Hawkwood College Not quite sure what the hazard is here Nobody working here And there they were, digging a hole We walk past Hammonds Farm Queuing to go over a stile Through cow parsley An Owl but where are the alpacas? Red campion White campion Across a field Coffee stop at Pincot It's still raining as we cross the stream Even the cattle are sheltering from the downpour At Sheephouse the gardens appreciate a bit of rain So does the topiary This Kerry Hill stands out with his black ears, nose, eyes and knees Crossing the Painswick Stream at Kingsmill Spot the croc A red poppy Alkanet Painswick in the valley We look back at Painswick with the spire of St. Mary's church Mmm a des res in the future The trees always look greener when it's wet We are back in Frith wood.
