Bulls Cross? walk - Wednesday 18 April 2018 Previous Next Poor South Cots. Evicted from hotel in Valletta. Now evicted from lay by at Bulls Cross. Reorganised by Jill and Sue we start our walk Heading off towards Sheepscombe Where we stop at the Butchers Arms Before heading downhill Over the stream As it meanders down the valley And looking down the Cotswold escarpment Still heading downhill Past a small pond Cows with calves Painswick behind the trees Strange looking plants It's ok, he has got plenty of women with him Now along the Painswick stream Slight spelling mistake Coffee in the Quaker Churchyard Where seats are provided Don't think South Cots could cope with the silence bit Down into the valley Once a mill A weird garden ornament Up a grassy bank Painswick church on the hill Keep out of that garden Continuing along the Painswick stream Then up to Sheephouse And the beginning of a long climb Just come to check us out Now on a stony track Through Frith Wood Past our intended starting point Now with Painswick on the horizon we head back to the start Photos and captions by Richard, uploaded by Sally
