Bury and Tumulus on May Day Previous Next All May Day in Gloucestershire was blustery but we managed a walk in the afternoon and didn’t get wet The air was so clear the views from Uley Bury were amazing Very few around We looked for orchids but were out of luck. We found Bird’s Foot Trefoil Then along the road to Hetty Peglar’s Tump aka Uley Tumulus to check it was ok and back down through Coaley Wood where the tree canopy is closing in..
