We've never seen as many butterflies as we did today. Can't identify this one
But there were meadow browns everywhere
And tortoiseshells on the wall
And on the nettles
There were loads of them
Cranesbills
Lambs looking for shade
And water
Masses of butterflies on this clump
This one stayed still long enough
We had many goes at trying to photograph a marbled white
And got a meadow brown on this scabious
There was a field of poppies above us
Really colourful
Ros tried to capture it on her phone
Watched by the sheep in the barn.
