Down to the canal
And along the towpath
We take the Wallbridge route
Not the only danger it seems
Willow trees on the far bank
Flight of locks
A useful bit of kit - I tihnk
Past a swing bridge
Then a beam bridge
Looks a bit uncomfortable
The Painswick Stream
Lock with some rather evil looking spikes
Protester camped across the road from Ecotricity
Remains of the old brewery
Burnt out shell of old building
Not sure what that is all about
Waiting to cross the by-pass
Looking along the viaduct arches
Now in the centre of Stroud
Where Christmas has arrived
And the market is busy
Selling local produce
To local yokels
Gathering for our return
Been sampling local ales?
Back to the canal
Viaduct reflected in the water
Then along Frome Banks
Fast flowing river
Along the cycle track
Pausing at Sainsburys as we make our way back
