Time he had a new coat We make our way downhill round the edge of Castle Combe Out onto The golf course Over a bridge The stream gurgling underneath Some tricky bunkers Over a clapper bridge And uphill Continuing On a good path Through woods Breakfast? About to turn sharp right Reaching the top of the hill - what's that in new money divided between 7? Keith has a chat with two dogs Coffee stop with a view Look behind you Somewhere to take sanctuary But our dairyman intervenes Into North Wraxall with its church Through the village School lockup - could do with a few more of those And on to the former school Wayside flowers Looking up the valley More cottages Before we take the road out of the village Arriving in Ford where the church has been converted into a house But the pub is still a pub Sitting outside eating our lunch we are approached by a robin Looking for food Leaving Ford we take the Castle Combe road Crossing a field of sheep with lambs As we head up the valley Now in Long Dean The sky heralds a short thunder storm As we follow the track back to Castle Combe Over a bridge into the village Past the famous row of cottages Looking up high street The church looming over the top of the cottages Wisteria looking good Now on the last leg Photos and captions by Richard, uploaded by Sally
