Heading downhill
Into a valley
Bringing up the rear
Then an uphill climb
With a pause at the top
A muddy track
And coffee at the usual place
We have walked past that house before
Plenty of black sheep in that family
Gently rolling countryside
As we head round the back of a large house
Then a field cropped but muddy
Followed by a recently ploughed field - even more muddy
But a chance to wash our boots
An opportunity which we all take
