Chedworth walk - Wednesday 10 April 2019 Previous Next It's Ros and Sally's walk from the Farm Shop 26 walkers set off along the road This is where we are We leave the road onto a mown footpath These sheep move in unison A good stock of wood A half-hidden wall probably connected with the railway line Round the side of a field Across an unmarked path A friendly horse getting in the way didn't make this stile any easier This field has been marked so easy to follow Found during our coffee stop. Is it a pheasant's egg? The highlight of our walk. Can you spot what's running around the field. There were at least 4 if not more. Alpacas. It's an idyllic scene Still descending We expect this little lamb to run a mile But he keeps looking at us And we get really close before he moves We think these are Cotswolds. The mothers have the right hair style. A little stream to drink out of And a very muddy-faced lamb We head up out of the valley And onto the road in Chedworth A project? Where's Keith? Back to the Farm Shop for an excellent lunch. Photos by Mike and Sally, captions and uploading by Sally
