Cherington Ponds and back Previous Next All On our way across Minch common the flag says "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" and there's a beach, a cocktail and a parrot (note the parrot) We've been wondering where the Highlands are, as they seem to be avoiding their usual plot on Windmill Road - they're on Old Common As we head across towards Crackstone there's a strange noise It's this parrot who eyes us up Can't remember what this flower is, blue with a pinkish hint (Sue C says Viper's Bugloss) Above Devil's Churchyard, fields of barley have been planted And a glider glides overhead We stop on the seat, noticing that it is inset with old pennies We eat the carrot cake that Ann has provided Wild Angelica, we think, remembering what Sue C told us once Up at Princess Anne's farm there's a young foal And the flag has changed as we return.
