Peter ready to go
We leave the village hall and shop displaying the spirit of Christmas
Plenty of mistletoe for the good citizens of Coaley
As we head through the new part of the village
Past a farm with an imposing house
View back across the valley
Meanwhile watching from an adjacent field
Some agricultural machinery wasting away
Cam church across the field
Dad having a busy time
Entering the new estate in Dursley past a bit of modern sculpture

Now at the bowls club with its grotto
Downham Hill in front
Then we start our ascent of Cam Long Down on the Cotswold Way
View up the valley to Uley Bury
As we toil uphill
Then toil downhill
On a slippery slope
Messy eaters
Another long climb
The top
And heading back down
With views across the Severn
Granny flat
Now at Peter and Sue's
Where we stop for lunch
Including mulled wine and mince pies - Jill helping to serve
Before continuing down into the valley
Over a stile and back to the start.
