Coaley Walk - Wednesday 27 September 2017 Previous Next Here we are in Coaley Village Hall CP Peter and Sue enjoying a pre-walk joke Our route takes us across fields And over stiles Cam Long Down looming up on our right A heron perched on the roof of this house It's a busy time for farmers Although some have it easy Heading round a familiar pond Watched by sheep Before we start our long climb Up Cam Long Down From the top we have views of Downham Hill And a chance to sit down We can also see Cam Peak Which we soon start to climb Looking down on a misty Dursley Before heading down again Concentrating hard on a slippery slope One day this may be a car park The centre of Dursley Then back to the fields Where we soon stop for lunch A difficult gate A field of maize Which we eventually penetrate Then it's through the church back to the car park Photos and captions by Richard, processed and uploaded by Sally
