A dreary day so only 10 out for Brian and Sheelagh’s walk
From the excellent Green Dragon at Cockleford
Interestingly we decide the sheep is the biggest of the three animals
A sculpture of a horse, maybe modelled on War Horse or did this come first?
We continue through this immaculate park
Where we encounter a fox
A grazing horse in the distance
And a bull
But these are REAL animals, and the first lambs most of us have seen this year, so a long delay to admire them
We’re now in Upper Coberley
Then over the top and down a farm track, across the main road, and we’re at Tomtits Bottom, a beautiful dwelling (I remember its name from walks with Enid)
Before we head back to the pub and an excellent lunch.
