Look pretty, don't know what they are though? There were loads down the track leading away from Cold Aston.
A valley meadow with some buttercups
Some fine looking gates which lead to Turkdean Manor
Continuing on the Sabrina Way. I wonder what the bus service is like at the moment?
Looking west down the roadless valley below Turkdean
Not a bad view. Taken from the hamlet of Hazleton.
St Andrew's Church at Hazleton.
Looking back towards Hazleton
Notgrove, my next destination.
A field of purple. What are they? Could be bluebells. Not the greatest of photo as I had to put my camera on maximum zoom.
Notgrove church, on the left hand side, in the distance.
Looking back towards Notgrove. This is the view I had for my lunch break.
Row of mature beech trees on the Gloucestershire Way not far from Cold Aston. The local name for this landmark is Long Ash Piece! The path resembles the aisle in a high cathedral as it runs through the heart of the towering shelterbelt.
