A sunny morning for Colin's walk from Shortwood
Ready to go
John checks his watch
Work being done on Ash Dieback
We head towards Bird in Hand
The tricky stone stile in the wall causes a delay
Across the open field we go
Towards the woods
And down a very steep treacherous path, taken gingerly
Time for a coffee and chinwag stop
Continuing along the Cotswold Way
We emerge onto the road
And are horrified to see these dumped refuse bags, now reported to SDC.
Down to Cliffwell Cottages
We go left up to pass the Gloucester Stone, now in the open
With views over to the Severn
We climb up Ring Hill
And take in more views
Passing the resident cattle
We return to the cars
