Daffodil walk - Saturday 25 March 2023 Previous Next All Andrew is checking everything before we leave Queens Wood for our 10 mile walk on the Daffodil Way Plenty of daffodils right from the start The Beauchamp Arms at Dymock is heaving with daffodil seekers We stop at the adjacent St. Mary’s Church, with this carved lychgate Which has been decorated with knitted daffodils (in case the real ones don’t come up trump(et)s)? Different variety, different wool There is still mud around But fields of yellow We have lunch at another St. Mary’s Church, in Kempley, which is famous for its frescoes There are more daffodils here Who’s that?
