Back to the Daneway
Tim and Ann in charge today
We follow the canal towpath
Moss covering everything
To the Daneway Portal
Then uphill
With a quick glance over our shoulders
To Sapperton
Through the village where they have the flags out for us
Then along the top through fields of lambs
They took a different route
Pinbury Park coming into view
Giving Jill chance to share some of her knowledge
As we look across the valley
Then past the pond
And the well-known topiary
Deer down in the valley
Which stretches down to our left
Following the path downhill
We cross the stream
And make our way uphill
Pausing as we reach the top
For a well-earned break
Then it's off through the woods
Dense in places
Seems quite friendly
On to the Daneway Banks Nature Reserve
Where we look down on Daneway House
Before walking through the Nature reserve
To the road on the other side and down to the Daneway for lunch
