As the National Trust have closed some of the paths since Brian and Sheelagh’s walkover, the first part of the walk is fairly flexible as we set off on a different path from the plan

We do a loop and come down lower down

The House at the bottom looks stunning on the first frosty day of Winter

We reach the courtyard

Then we’re on the Cotswold Way – recognise this seat

Stunning views down to the lake

Frosty oak leaves

Up through the woods*

Coffee stop*

Out into the sun

We’re on Dyson land

There’s a lot of water about

Then we’re back into the gardens of Dyrham Park
