We head off down into the valley
Towards Workmans Woods

Continuing round a pond
A pause for people to catch up

As we head out of the woods
Pausing before a short climb up onto Sheepscombe Common
Where we have views over the village
Before heading downhill
To the pub
For coffee
We leave the pub
The Butchers Arms
And make our way out of the village
Up the valley
He wants to come with us
An isolated cottage
Looking across to the other side
And back down towards Painswick
Stopping to examine
An unusual fungus
Continuing up a forest track
The going getting steeper
As we reach the top
And look back across the valley to Ebworth
A short road stretch
Before we head across fields to Whiteway
Where Jill fills us in on its history
And we pass one of its cottages
Sounds encouraging
