We leave the village
Stop to talk to horses

Then it's downhill
Steeply in places

Over the railway
To valley bottom
And the playground by the River Frome
Where we stop for coffee
And a play
Bringing out the children in some
Off again past the old water pumping station
Walking between the river and the canal
On the old towpath
Approaching Bakers Mill
With its mill pond
Continuing along the canal
Past the canal worker's cottage
Then a steep climb uphill
Looking down the valley
