On the way home we stop at Crickhowell for Peter to lead our last walk

Heading uphill we have a good view of our goal, Table Mountain

We spot a party of schoolchildren on top of Table Mountain - they must have got up before us
Peter stops for some polite conversation
As we continue to struggle uphill
Sugar Loaf towering above us across the valley
As we take a breather on our climb
The top of Table Mountain provides some shelter
Before we take in the views across the valley
And over to the Beacons
A small herd of ponies enjoying the sunshine
We make our way gingerly downhill
The summit looking different from this angle
Following the path downhill
Over a stream
And down a gulley
Into a recently cut hayfield
Where the farmer is turning the crop
We are being watched - fortunately from afar
They look a bit friendlier
