Fromebridge walk - Wednesday 10 May 2017 Previous Next An idyllic setting - the River Frome, swan on nest Dave is in there somewhere, among the hoard After crossing the busy A38, we head across fields Some starting to strip off, others still in coats There are some difficult stiles on this walk, causing a hold-up It's Summer Along the side of a field Grass cutting With his acrobat We try not to get in the way Beautiful wisteria on a house in Whitminster Round the edge of another dry field Looks like arid land in a foreign country A long line of us stretched round this field Some have coffee in the shade While others prefer the sun Something is managing to grow, despite the lack of rain We reach the canal and find Endeavour Not as good as the swing on our Sidmouth holiday, so no-one is tempted Another wait for a difficult stile Ann takes my camera, hoping to catch this short-legged person making a fool of herself! Whitminster church Synchronised diving That's NOT the way to do it It's a beautiful scene Mike admires the view at Saul Junction While we walk along the tow path He's often around Rows and rows of boats moored Another queue for a difficult stile A duck and duckling well camouflaged And a family of swans Like the S.Cots, there always someone trailing behind!
