We are high up on the Wolds in Great Barrington
We pause as we leave the village to wait for late arrivals
Then head off across fields
Majestic beech trees
And quaint cottages in Great Rissington
More cottages
And a church
We continue through the village
Past houses who obviously value their privacy
Now views over open countryside
In all directions
Ready for cultivation
Along the Windrush
Bringing up the rear
Imposing farmhouse
And an old mill
Still on the Windrush
A climb up to a stile
Into Windrush village, tea being served in the village hall - not for us
We head over to the church
Lunch - Keith looking very determined as he heads back the way we have come
On through the village
