Cots on one side of the Cripplegate car park Area walkers on the other Richard leads us off to the topograph Where we admire the views and breathe in the bracing air Downhill, Sue back marking Through the woods We emerge to views of Stonehouse And the River Severn For coffee we have skulls (it is Halloween) We're joined by a Bouvier de Flandres (that's a dog) Heading downhill to the farm Getting closer to Stonehouse We circumnavigate Doverow Hill above the vineyard Good views And a lovely sky over Selsley Common We're not going straight up to Westrip They've made that very clear An Autumnal scene To Randwick churchyard for lunch More signs of Halloween If you saw this path, you wouldn't need a No Cycling sign After the very steep climb, Richard rewards us with teeth Which causes great amusement We meet a small dog with a big stick The Incinerator And we head back to the car park.
