Haresfield leisurely walk - Monday 29 February 2016 Previous Next Cripplegate Car Park at Haresfield - Mike standing in for Denys We make our way over to the topograph and check out our surroundings Then we head downhill Looking across to Vinegar Hill A pause for Mike to give us a running commentary on what we can see On downhill passing some old farm carts Into a farmyard Some early daffs We make our way through Oxlynch Lovely views A thatched cottage Then up through the woods Dwarfed by tall trees And overtaken by a pack of dogs Views down into the Severn Valley Or looking out over Stroud A glimpse of Haresfield Beacon through the trees Primroses starting to appear Mike points out where Ramblers used to mark the Cotswold Way with a yellow painted spot. We continue along the Cotswold Way Can't go wrong Bruce Trail? Is in central Ontario - did Mike take a wrong turning? More views over to the Severn as we make our way back to the cars.
