Hawkesbury Upton walk - Wednesday 12 September 2018 Previous Next Ray waiting for the odd straggler to boot up Then we are off out of the village Wish I could come Heading along the top of the hill The corn is as high........ A slight incline Then looking back towards Petty France And down into the Severn Valley A chance to re-group Hawkesbury Monument in the distance Heading towards Horton Camp Watched by a long legged sheep As we reach the hill fort we stop for coffee Again looking down over the valley It's a mistake to open a rucksack when there are horses about Horton Court And Church Di would appreciate this Norman Arch Hence name of our walk Following the woods On the Cotswold Way Strange looking beast We pass another busy farmer as we head back to the start Photos and captions by Richard, uploaded by Sally
