We have had rain and mud. Now it is snow. Next earthquake, sunami or pestilence
Landscape looks very different
Following a wider farm track
A gap opening up
A small valley over to our right
Ice has broken, leaving mud underneath
Brian looking happy
Into Winstone - gingerly crossing an icy road
Posh village. Posh sign
Snow clinging to the bushes
Preparing to walk along an icy road
Through the village
Then over a stile into a field
And down a valley in the morning sun
With their walking poles they coud almost be skiing
Today's snowdrop shot. Plenty of plants but the flowers haven't come out yet
We pause on the Green at Duntisborne Abbots
To let the back marker catch up
Continuing through the village
Past a novel "Go slow" sign
Following another farm track
Under the eye of the neighbourhood watch
Then over a field
And back into Winstone
Retracing our steps
Back to the Highwayman
Who is waiting for us
