We assemble in the car park at the Kilkenny Viewpoint
And head uphill towards the communication mast
Looking across the valley to see the sun shining on Cheltenham
Violets
St. Paul's Epistle
Reaching the top of the hill we look down across the valley
Horses being exercised
And more rolling countryside with pylons
Following a rutted track
Then over cross country course
Home of the Withington Horse Trials
Now down into Withington
Plenty of Cotswold stone
We carry straight on
Our road becoming a rough track
Lambs receiving lessons in watching humans
Past an isolated farmhouse with a large garden
And a peacock in the barn
Our route now takes us past Kim Bailey's racing yard
Sunshine across the valley
Now on a wide track
Some really new lambs
Stopping for lunch on a handy hunt jump
Before making our way down into Foxcote
Over a stream
Trees blossoming in gardens
A dubious looking stile
Now heading into Upper Dowdeswell
Past the Manor
And uphill back to the cars
