As usual with Alex it’s a rapid set-off so before long we’re out of Kings Stanley and on the Cotswold Way towards Coaley Peak
It’s a constantly changing weather picture so while we put on waterproofs briefly, I get to take this picture of either an Iron Age encampment or a School’s Forest School activity!
At the planned coffee stop at Coaley Peak it’s raining so we stop at a more original impromptu place
The word for this walk is Mud
And the decision of which is the least horrible route through it to take
But back marker Andrew is through
And suddenly we’re on grass and in the sun
And down towards Coaley
And fields of pregnant sheep and lambs
Frocester cricket field in the sun for lunch
And an unusual farming implement
And the mud continues all the way back
