Kingscote walk - Wednesday 3 July 2019 Previous Next All Having safely negotiated the road outside Hunters Hall we head out through Kingscote Village The sun shining on the cotswold stone cottages An interesting tree Rape crops about to make the going difficult Looking back at Kingscote Rape now up to our shoulders As we plunge our way through With some relief we come to a more easily passable field Then head downhill Through woods Before climbing up into Horsley and coffee at the village shop Heading off across the village football pitch Looking back at the church Then off up the valley With views behind to Tipputs Following a wide track Then down across a stream And back uphill A pause at the top Where we are watched A well defined path takes us across another field This time it's barley - much easier Kingscote in front of us More stone cottages And parking for Zen Photos and captions by Richard, uploaded by Sally
