Where we meet for Colin's walk
We pass allotments
And have a view of the Tyndale Monument
We pass a field of bikers
Presumably scrambles bikes
Views across to the eco-house on the hill
Colin leads us on well-marked paths through farm fields
We arrive at an industrial development
Renishaw
And other small businesses
Over a stream
Then it's coffee time
Colin points out local sites to Jules who came from Bath
While others gather round the Turkey Oak
Friendly!
We don't think cows and calves have ever been in this immaculate field, it's more like a golf course
Geese and Indian runner ducks don't seem interested in us
An impressive house with many chimneys
We go through a farm
And look across to Charfield (I think!)
Minutes away from Kingswood the heavens open and we're soaked.
