Everywhere is very icy though We head through the houses and onto this path Stiles and ice Then we stride across the fields A beautiful day Another stile. Wotton ahead Through narrow lanes We look down on Wotton from this elevated path The Tolsey clock We walk through the town And meet Anne on the way Then it's a climb Good views back over the town Through woods Then a sunny clearing for coffee where Coombe out of the sun is still frosted A narrow path downhill Concentration required Then views across to the River Severn and beyond Across fields Swinhay House, a futuristic building built by Sir David McMurtry of Renishaw's Heading back to Kingswood A mill building with strange patching up Tubbs and Lewis elastic factory Past Kingswood Abbey Gatehouse Here is its history.
