This is what summer evening walks are all about Solar panels doing well We head down into Lasborough Watched by lambs Along a tarmac drive Lasborough Manor on our left The church beside it Family group. 257 with two children Looking across the valley And up at Lasborough Park Continuing down the valley Past a pond The old water wheel And the shed housing the hydraulic ram Another lake Following a woodland trail Sometimes a lake - sometimes dry Now toiling uphill Haymaking in full swing across the valley Cranesbills in abundance Poppies in the foreground, communications tower on the horizon Corkscrew in the wall - if you have bottle to open Ready to drink with a bit of roast goose Fox and Bull good farming names Passing through a field of rape Sun setting in the west The ruined church in Newington Bagpath Down into the valley again Well wrapped up Newington Farm An overgrown path A helping hand needed on the steep slope as we head back to the start Photos and captions by Richard, uploaded by Sally
