Marshfield walk - Saturday 30 September 2017 Previous Next Leaving Marshfield we head down a tree lined path With views down the valley Our route takes us round the edge of a ploughed field Looking down into the valley once again Carefully watched by a field of sheep As we continue down and over a stream Steeply uphill A pause to adjust our dress at the top Outside a rather nice house Then it's up on to the top to an old airfield Not long before we are going down again Looking down into the valley Now striding down a stoney track A pause at the bottom A house across the valley As we cross a stream Passing through the garden of a house We have to get through that lot But they cause no problem as we look across to St Catherine's Court once home of Jane Seymour A secretive pond Looking down the valley to Bath Lunch stop After which we contour up the valley Marshfield in front Getting closer Back through the village to the cars Photos and captions by Richard, processed and uploaded by Sally
