Miserden walk - Saturday 27 April 2019 Previous Next Storm Hannah still making her presence felt but at least it's dry As we head off along the side of Miserden Park Passing a field of rape And down into the valley A pause before we start uphill Wayside bluebells Making our way round a field Horse with a crew cut To Caudle Green Where Lenneke collects another post box (she photographs them) Through the village The oldest cottage We chicken out of following the footpath down a steep bank Folllowing the road before heading up to Syde A dog friendly house Arriving at Syde Church A quick look inside And outside Time for coffee Views to Caudle Green across the valley as we continue To Winstone past the Baptist Church Through the village and out the other side The old Saxon Church across the field Down another valley More bluebells Staying in the valley Then heading up into Duntisbourne Abbots To the church yard where we stop for lunch Back through the village Past a large house Now following a wide track To Bull Banks Taking to the road we pass a tree covered with fungi Continuing steeply uphill Through a field of sheep Countryside getting more colourful Nearly back Into Miserden Past the Church and back to the cars Photos and captions by Richard, uploaded by Sally
