Miserden walk - Wednesday 1 May 2019 Previous Next Olivia seems very relaxed as people gradually assemble for her walk We leave Miserden by a well-defined path. (Well done to this farmer!) Fields of oil seed rape in the distance The path continues And we descend to a farm Where baby goats get our attention Then up steps These cowls on the roof look like artistic birds Magnolia nearly finished We pass Througham Court Keeping a watchful eye Much discussion about the name of this beautiful fragrant plant (inconclusive) Wild garlic everywhere Over a stile Where it's coffee time Amazing range of greens We have to cross this brook several times No-one has fallen in ....YET A spotted orchid without spots This old pump seems to have new fittings A Miserden cat waits on its doorstep to be let in, as we return to the Carpenters Arms.
