Climbing we look back over the town

Probably leading to the Rockers
We stop at a new donkey sanctuary to speak to the owner (see News Link at bottom of page)
Carrying on past the George
And through Newmarket
Starting to climb
An old graveyard on our left
Then Shortwood United Football Ground
Looking down into a valley
A mysterious pond
Now following a lane towards Lower Lutteridge Farm
A stop for coffee
A line of lime trees - Shortwood Church in the distance
Sharp horns
A detailed weathervane
On top of the hill we make our way round a field
Watching us with some suspicion
As we follow a lane towards Wallow Green
Then head back down towards Shortwood
And into Nailsworth
Watched by two guard pigs
Following narrow lanes back to the cars
