Monday 20 November 2017 - Nibley Monument leisurely walk Previous Next Chris meets us and we order lunch From the Royal Oak Can't see the top of Wotton Hill We head up out of town Autumn leaves still colourful We keep to the bottom of the wood That's where we are aiming for On we go Here's today's snapper I get carried way And keep taking more photos We now have a short, steep climb Chris waits Until we are all ready to continue To the Tyndale monument above North Nibley Here we come We can read about Tyndale translating the Bible and getting martyred Some find shelter to have their banana Others take in the misty views We head back Through the woods To Wotton Hill Purple ... or Blue? We descend past the trees on Wotton Hill Sounds some formidable dogs!
