Road name reminding us that weather is not all fine and sunny
We make our way through Northleach
Past the Dolls House
A pause for leader and back marker to check the route
We follow the edge of a field
Along an overgrown path
Waiting for everybody to safely cross the A40
Before we continue across fields
Downhill
Past a small lake
And a rather unusual garden feature
As we walk through the village of Farmington
Then it's back across country
Skies still blue
Foliage still impenetrable at times
A fine display of poppies
As we walk on a wide track
Heading downhill
A barn containing the season's crop of wool
Then uphill into Hampnett
Can't blame them for lying in the shade
A look around Hampnett Church
Then we gather outside in the only shade available
Before following a well-defined path
Past the old prison and into Northleach
