Old Sodbury walk - Wednesday 7 August 2019 Previous Next All South Cots loitering with intent in Old Sodbury We head off along the Cotswold Way Looking down over the Severn Valley, Chipping Sodbury Church standing out Now in the middle of a hill fort - now only guarded by black sheep A Bedlington Terrier Which takes a liking to Ann A pause at a crossroads Then following a narrow lane Eventually turning down into woods And along the side of the hill More views into the valley as we come out onto the top Before continuing round the top of the hill Past a large house And then downhill past this folly, part of a Millennium project to provide shelter for wildlife Continuing downhill Across a small valley Fungus growing in a tree Past another house - fire lit - winter must be coming Dubious character in the garden Any volunteers?
