Polperro - Day 2 - Free Day - Looe and Looe Island Previous Next All While Andrew and Sheelagh park in Looe and walk east on the coast path to Seaton Valley, 6 of us catch the bus to Looe Looe harbour. Tides out After coffee and a mooch around Looe and the shops, we eat our crab sandwiches Some prefer to sit in the shade Looe beach isn't too busy We take a ferry to Looe Island In the afternoon we take a boat to Looe Island (see below) There are just the six of us in a small boat This is our skipper and his boat is called Moonraker Looe Island Looking back at Looe from the island We arrive safely on dry land Where we can watch the seals They are using a drone so that in the future people will be able to "visit" Looe Island using virtual reality headsets Ann makes friends with a sheep They are Hebridean sheep there And there are pretty hydrangeas As we're early for our boat back, we retrace our footsteps So we can watch some more of the seals The loo on Looe Island Saying goodbye to our host As we leave the drone operators are still working. And we make a safe return to Looe. We catch a bus back and eat in the Jubilee Inn where most of us enjoyed Sunday roast.
