Past the base of SARA To the lifeboat station Waiting while some look at The Vindicatrix memorial Then we make our way round Sharpness to a suitable place for coffee Our route continues over fields Through a sticky gateway To Brookend where we receive a warm welcome Following a path past a des res Past a small pond Into more fields Time for lunch They have had theirs Through a wood with many fallen trees A difficult stream crossing Even when wearing wellies And on round fields Till we reach the top of the hill looking down over the Severn As we return to the start a finger points to the house which featured in Escape to the Country Photos and captions by Richard, processed and uploaded by Sally
