Just 4 of us today. Did the thought of “scrambling up a bank to avoid a flooded path” put people off? Surely not??

We cross The Green at Quenington

That’s the River Coln at the front – the rest is the flood plain

And there’s certainly lots of water

Then it’s through the woods to avoid the impassable path

But there is a path through

We stop on some logs for coffee

Then down to Coln St. Aldwyns where the swans are paddling hard against the flow
